To be honest, I’ve only watched a few episodes of The Vampire Diaries. But from what I vaguely remember, I agree—Damon is much more lovable than the other “good” characters. It’s kind of interesting how we, as the audience, tend to root for flawed characters over those with a good heart. I wonder why that is.
I'm not sure. His brother Stefan is a much better person than him and also good-looking. I feel like Stefan became too much of a nice guy and is more plain and 1 dimensional?
Damon is funny, romantic, independent and good-looking. Maybe we like seeing really bad men become devoted to a woman and change for them or maybe it's cause we want to believe there is hope for bad guys?
